Health care workers play a very important role in the health and safety of Louisianians, particularly during flu season. That's why it is critical that clinicians and health care providers prepare for flu season by receiving flu shots themselves. Remember, if your job is protecting and helping others, your first job is to protect yourself.

For the 2012-2013 influenza season, health care workers are a target audience to get the flu vaccine.
